HEY THERE, I'M JAKE KLINE!
From a young age, I’ve had a passion for performing. My parents, a music teacher, and a community actor, played a crucial role in nurturing this passion. They recognized my love for the arts early on and made the decision any supportive parent would make – sent me to an arts high school. High school was a whirlwind of experiences, marked by annual musical performances and ventures into musicals beyond the school walls. These early adventures laid the foundation for my journey to Indiana University, where I embarked on their BFA Musical Theatre Program.

After graduating in May of 2024, I am still filled with excitement and anticipation. The stage has been my canvas, and I am eager to showcase to the world what this small-state goofball has to offer. Join me on this thrilling ride as I step into the spotlight, armed with a passion for storytelling, a love for music, and a mission to spread joy through the art of performance. Get ready to witness the next chapter in the journey of a musical theatre enthusiast ready to make the world a brighter, more entertaining place!

Drowsy Chaperone
Coming in February 2026, Jake will serve as choreographer for The Drowsy Chaperone, a production that lets him combine his love for comedy, character work, and classic musical theatre dance. He’s thrilled to step back into his tap shoes and craft choreography that celebrates the heart and humor of the show.

The Kline Agenda
In the summer of 2025, I finished performances for Something Rotten. This production was performed at an outdoor venue at Longwood Gardens. I was fortunate enough to have starred in it playing the role of Nigel Bottom.

Ride The Cyclone
In the summer of 2024, I finished performances for Ride The Cyclone. This production was extremely special to me being that I not only directed/choreographed, but also starred in it playing the role of Noel Grubber.

Head Over Heels
In the spring of 2024, I finished performances for Head Over Heels. This being a comedy - I was so excited to start working on comedic timing and what makes the text funny. I played the role of Dametas.
Into The Woods
In the summer of 2023, I finished performance for Into The Woods as a part of Indiana University's Summer Theatre season. I was very fortunate enough to play the role of Jack! I had such a fun time having yet another summer in Bloomington!
